The Strathclyde Dialogues series, currently in its third year; aims to bring together panels of experts who, by exchanging views and perspectives, promote the sharing of knowledge in various fields of contemporary interest globally, and with particular application to the UAE. The latest event took place on December 10th, 2012 at the CERT/HCT campus, where the Strathclyde Business School Abu Dhabi regional centre is located. The event, which was attended by members of the business school, past and present students and representatives of the wider Abu Dhabi community, was entitled:
‘Redefining ‘capital’ in the 21st century: trends in human capital and talent management’.
The Dialogue panel comprised a combination of experts in the field of human capital, representing business, policy and academia. Speakers included Mr. David Robert, CEO , Great Place to Work Gulf, Ms Shaimaa Abdel Bar, Manager, The Nielsen Company, Public Sector Research and Dr. Ingo Forstenlechner, Associate Professor, United Arab Emirates University.
